Former reality show star Laura Govan, the mother of Alijah Arenas and ex of former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas, has been very active on social media. On Instagram, she frequently posts and comments on her four kids' achievements. However, she also comments on posts from the children of other athletes, such as Deiondra Sanders, daughter of NFL great and Colorado coach Deion Sanders.
Govan dropped a one-word comment and an emoji on Sanders' post, which is a photo dump of what she has been doing over the last few days. Sanders also replied to Govan's comment on her post.
"Cutie ❤️❤️," Govan wrote.
"@lauramgovan ❤️," Sanders replied.
The photo dump from Sanders included her being present during the Colorado vs. BYU Alamo Bowl game, as well as photos of her with her fiance, R&B star Jacquees, and her newborn baby, Snow.
Sanders has been very supportive of the Buffaloes, especially as her dad is the coach, and her brothers, Shedeur and Shilo, play for the team. However, Colorado lost that game to the BYU Couhars, 14-36, even with star quarterback Shedeur doing very well, with 16 out of 23 passes completed for 208 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions.
As for Govan, she has been showing much support for her children, all of whom are basketball stars. Alijah is a five-star prospect, while eldest child Izela now plays for the Louisville Cardinals. The youngest daughter, Hamiley, is a rising star for the Notre Dame Knights, while Aloni is making waves as a middle school basketball star.
Laura Govan shares her kids' highlights often
Laura Govan has shown that she is one proud mom, as her Instagram account is not filled with the usual selfies and travel photos but of her children's highlights. The latest is her posting videos from her youngest daughter Hamiley's 30-point game last Saturday.
She also frequently posts about her eldest son, Alijah, from his 56-point game against Prescott to some of his highlight plays. Her Instagram stories are also filled with her posts about him, including a picture she took with Alijah and five-star Inglewood guard Jason Crowe Jr.
She has often attended her kid's games, from traveling all the way to Kentucky to watch Izela to watching Hamiley courtside and filming her performance and proudly posting them on social media.
