The GOAT debate continues to make headlines, including in the sports world and now in high school football. On Friday, Dov Kleiman sparked a discussion on X (formerly Twitter) by asking about the best high school football players of all time. He named Adrian Peterson as his No. 1 high school football player ever.

From Allen Iverson to Calvin Johnson, many talented football players were mentioned in this debate. Kyler Murray and Earl Campbell also made an appearance in the debate.

How good was Derrick Henry in high school?
Derrick Henry, the Baltimore Ravens superstar running back, is a force of nature. The 6-foot-3 rusher is one of the league's best players at his position and is widely regarded as "King Henry" for his dominant on-field performances.
Henry has been a special player since his high school days. During his four years at Yulee High School in Florida, Henry rushed for 12,124 yards, breaking Ken Hall's career record. He also recorded 153 touchdowns, which ranks fifth all-time.
Henry was amazing from the get-go, as he registered 2,465 yards and 26 touchdowns as a freshman. He accumulated 2,788 and 2,610 yards in the next two years.
However, his best season came in his senior year, where he amassed a mammoth 4,261 yards and 55 touchdowns in just 13 games en route to being named an All-American.
Henry was a five-star recruit coming out of high school and was ranked No. 13. He was the best running back in the Class of 2013 and was the fourth-best overall recruit from Florida, per On3.
