Former reality show star Laura Govan might have separated from her ex, Gilbert Arenas, but she does love her kids with him. In her Instagram stories, she posted a photo of herself with a touching message for her kids.
Govan's children include Louisville freshman star Izela Arenas, five-star shooting guard Alijah Arenas, high school freshman Hamiley Arenas and middle school basketball star Aloni Arenas.
"One of the BEST Christmases I've had in a few years! Gift giving is easy. But have my Babies As the BEST gift I could ever Ask For Is The BEST EVER. Thank You My loves... @hamileyarenas0 @izelaarenas @alijah0arenas @aloniarenas," wrote Laura Govan in the caption.
Like any mother, Laura Govan has been highly supportive of her kids, hiring coaches for them, and was the one who actually raised them. She often watched her kids' games, even if their father was also there, and posted about them on social media.
During her eldest, Izela's college debut for the Louisville Cardinals, she took her parents and the rest of her children with her to France to watch her play. She also told TMZ that her son, Alijah, could surpass his dad, and has also been there for Hamiley and Aloni, as seen on her Instagram account.
She separated from her ex, Gilbert, back in 2014, and it was less than amicable. They often butted heads, especially regarding child support, with the former NBA All-Star managing to lower it to around $7,000 a month. Govan complained that this was often not enough to cover all the costs.

Govan's love and support for kids is often reflected on social media. While many are talking about Alijah Arenas or Izela being a rising college basketball star, Hamiley has been tearing it up with Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks).
She has been racking up her stats sheet. Her mom made sure to let the world know that Alijah's little sister is pretty good too.
"My Baby Is Averaging 25 points as a 9th grader for Varsity High School … Proud Mama You Work So Hard Training Watching Film all hours of the night. Nobody Needs To See What You Do in the Dark, keep letting your Light Shine On The Court Mama … Proud Mama #1 Fan … @hamileyarenas0," she wrote.
Hamiley is still in her freshman season but is one of her team's biggest scoring threats already, averaging 25 points per game.
