After missing the first part of the season for the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers, Bryce James, the youngest son of NBA legend LeBron James, is back in action. His team took on Crespi on Wednesday, with the three-star shooting guard sinking a tough and well-defended 3 in a highlight play shared by Overtime on Instagram.
Sierra Canyon defeated Crespi that day, 71-62, with James scoring 13 points, including three 3-pointers. However, even with the shot came a flood of comments from hoops fans. These include some inevitable comparisons between him and his older brother, G-League star Bronny James, as well as their superstar dad.
"Bryce better then Bronny stay w me now," one fan commented.
"Bro swap Bronny and Bryce rn bruh," another fan said.
"That was okay Lebron would have done better," a fan added.
The shot also led to some allegations of Bryce doing what his dad has been accused of doing multiple times: Flopping. There were also allegations of missed calls from some fans in the comments.
"1000 missed calls from Lakers," one fan said.
"Catch n shoot 3 falling with zero body contact and zero impeding on landing zone. Should’ve been a flop warning and a normal 3…. Why is this supposed to be tough?" asked another fan.
What he fall for? Scared no discipline to complete the shoot and strunting on made basket lucky nothing else," another fan added.

The Trailblazers were coming off a big win against nationally-ranked Grayson High School during last weekend's Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Massachusetts. Bryce and Co. are now on a six-game winning streak, with a 17-3 record.
Bryce James and Sierra Canyon Trailblazers praised for team effort in win vs. Crespi
As for the game, it was not just Bryce James who did well, as three other players finished in double figures for Sierra Canyon as well. This is led by senior guard Gavin Hightower, who had 19 points in the game. He complimented his teammates soon after.
“Today, everybody played hard,” Hightower said. “Anytime we get a win, I think we all did well, it was a team effort.”
The Trailblazers jumped to a hot start thanks to senior guard Jayden Alexander. who rained down three three-pointers in the opening quarter. However, Crespi tried to stage a comeback with a 10-2 run, but this was not enough.
