Bryce James shares 2-word message for dad LeBron James with birthday post

Bryce James shared an Instagram story in celebration of his father, Lebron James on Monday, marking the birthday of the NBA's all-time scoring king. LeBron's legacy has inspired many young athletes, opponents, teammates and fans.

Fans, friends and young basketball players sent him warm wishes. One of the wishes among several was Bryce’s. Bryce, a 6-foot-4 Sierra Canyon School player, shared a picture of him and his father mid-hug.

“🐐 DAY ❤️,” he captioned the story.

The celebration doesn't seem to stop for the James family. The LA Lakers legend shared a carousel of wholesome pictures on Christmas.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE JAMES GANG TO YOURS!!! 👑✨✨✨🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎," LeBron wrote.

Fans are likely to see more of these posts following King James' birthday and New Year Celebration. Jerzy Robinson, Bryce James’ schoolmate, also posted a photo with LeBron on Instagram, calling him the GOAT with a sticker to highlight her respect for the Lakers icon.

Robinson is a five-star women’s basketball prospect. Her admiration for LeBron is well known. She credits Lebron for the influence he has had on her basketball journey. His playing style and dominance have resonated with her.

LeBron James' long list of achievements includes four NBA championships, four MVP titles and four Finals MVPs. As he turns 40, more achievements might be cemented in his name as he continues to play. He became the only player in the NBA who competed in his teens, 20s, 30s and 40s.

Bryce James gears up for Sierra Canyon’s schedule

On Dec. 21, Bryce James returned for Sierra Canyon in Los Angeles after an injury. He helped the team secure an 87-33 victory against Milikan High School. Two days later, he contributed to an 89-51 victory over the Venice Gondoliers.

Following that, Sierra Canyon (11-2) won with a narrow gap of four points over Dougherty Valley on Monday. This performance was met with criticism due to the underwhelming performance of the team and the emerging player.

Sierra Canyon will play the Notre Dame Knights on Jan. 10 and the Grayson Rams on Jan. 18. Both of these are considered critical games. It appears Bryce and his teammates are gearing up for a challenging January schedule.
