The Instagram post featured an image outlining Harper's impressive stats and a video of him in action. Harper put up a triple-double, including 16 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists, to help the Scarlet Knights to a 91-64 victory.

Harper played for the Don Bosco Preparatory High School (Ramsey, NJ), where he led the team to a state championship in his senior season. As expected, offers from different college programs came in, and he committed to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in Dec. 2023.

He was the highest-rated high school prospect to ever commit to Rutgers. Before his senior year, ESPN ranked him the No. 1 recruit in the 2024 class.

This season, he is averaging 22.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. Harper will aim to establish himself on the team with even more impressive performances.

BYU signed first-ever five-star recruit, AJ Dybantsa, elevates recruiting rankings

No. 1 ranked AJ Dybantsa already announced his commitment to BYU, becoming the first ever five-star recruit to join the program. His decision, which came at the expense of other top-rated college programs like Alabama and Kansas, shocked many hoops fans who would have expected him to opt for any of the other seemingly better options.

After Dybantsa announced his commitment, BYU achieved its highest recruiting ranking in years. According to ESPN, the Cougars are ranked eighth.

Dybantsa will be joined by other class of 2025 recruits, including four-star recruits Xavion Staton and Chamberlin Burgess.
