The Army National Guard Event is set to host some of the best basketball talents including Cameron Boozer, Jermaine O'Neal Jr., and more on December 6 and 7. The Army National Guard Hoophall Invitational will take place at the Miami Dade College Kendall Campus, Miami, FL.
Teams like the Columbus Explorers, Oak Ridge, Riviera Prep, Dynamic Prep, Westminister, Socal Academy, Sagemont, Combine, Gonzaga, and West Oaks compete against each other. The tournament tips off with So Cal taking on Riviera on Dec. 6 followed by seven more exciting matchups.

5. Jermaine O'Neal Jr.
Son of the 6x NBA All-Star Jermaine O'Neal, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard ranks at the 111th spot nationally. The Dynamic Prep player had offers from Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and more but committed to SMU on Sep. 18.
In three seasons for Dynamic Prep, O'Neal played 53 games and scored 14.0 points. He dished out 2.0 assists, grabbed 5.5 rebounds, and stole the ball 1.5 times with 1.0 blocks per contest. He is in his senior year currently and is averaging 17.3 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 0.9 apg, 1.0 spg, and 1.8 bpg.
4. Jalen Reece
The 6-foot-0 point guard from Oak Ridge, Jalen Reece is ranked at the 12th spot in his position. He committed to LSU on Oct. 16 after considering offers from Cincinnati, Providence, Dayton, and more.
For Oak Ridge High School, Reece played 78 matches in three seasons, averaging 13.7 ppg, 7.4 apg, 3.3 rpg, 3.3 spg and 0.1 bpg. Last season, he averaged 15.4 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 7.7 apg, 3.3 spg and 0.2 bpg in 26 games.
3. Derek Dixon
The No. 48 prospect in the Class of 2025, Dixon made his commitment to North Carolina on Sep. 27 after rejecting offers from Virginia, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse. The 6-foot-3 combo guard shot 39% from beyond the arc and 91% from the charity strike in the Nike EYBL and also has a lethal mid-range shot.
He averaged 19.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per contest last season while shooting 42.9% in the Circuit League and will now represent Gonzaga.
2. Cayden Boozer
Son of the legendary NBA player Carlos Boozer and twin brother of No. 2 prospect Cameron Boozer, Cayden Boozer is one to watch out for in the tournament. He committed to his father's alma mater Duke Blue Devils along with Cameron Boozer on Nov. 10 with offers from Miami, Florida, Kentucky and more.
The 6-foor-3 point guard played 87 matches for Miami, Florida high school. He averaged 14.6 points, 5.6 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 1.9 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest. Furthermore, he displayed his passing prowess as the No. 22 ranked prospect led in assists at the Nike EYBL with 6.5 and the Nike Peach Jam with 6.9 assists.
1. Cameron Boozer
Cameron Boozer is the No. 2 prospect nationally and first in the power forward position in Florida. He will join his brother as the twins represent the Explorers in the Army National Guard Hoophall Invitational.
The five-star recruit represented the Explorers in 90 matches. He averaged a double-double throughout high school with 20.7 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.1 blocks. Furthermore, he led Team USA to the 2023 FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship with 16.8 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 2.5 spg and 1.2 apg.
