UNC eyes 5-Star recruit Cameron Boozer amid 2025 class pursuit
The 2025 recruiting board for Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels is taking shape as they search for their first commitment in the class. With several targets on their radar, the fall months are expected to bring intensified recruiting efforts.
One notable target is Cameron Boozer. Despite his Duke legacy, there’s speculation that UNC could still secure a visit from Boozer. National recruiting analyst Travis Branham mentioned the possibility during the 247Sports College Basketball Show, noting:
"There have been other schools involved and rumblings if he could potentially take a visit to North Carolina."
This development adds an intriguing twist to Boozer’s recruitment. While UNC hasn't been seen as a strong contender, a visit could potentially change the dynamics.
Cameron Boozer secured the No. 2 place on the 247Sports 2025 Composite. This week, he is a heavy favorite for the Peach Jam MVP title in North Augusta, S.C., playing for Nightrydas Elite, alongside Cayden, his twin brother and another five-star forward, Caleb Wilson, who is also a UNC target.
