Five-star quarterback Keelon Russell has led the Duncanville Panthers to a 6-0 record this season. The Alabama commit had a tremendous outing against the Lancaster Tigers on Friday, leading the Panthers to a dominant 41-7 home win.

Russell finished the game with 252 passing yards and five touchdowns, completing 21-of-31 pass attempts. His connection with four-star wide receiver Zach Turner was on point throughout the game as the 6-foot-2 athlete finished the game with eight catches for 169 yards and three touchdowns.

The Alabama Crimson Tide's class of 2025 is ranked No.1 in the country after overtaking Ohio State's class in the latest On3 Industry Team Rankings. The Crimson Tide have acquired five five-star recruits from the class, including the third-best quarterback in the country, Keelon Russell.

Russell announced his commitment to Alabama on June 4 this year. He chose Kalen DeBoer's side over other top programs like SMU, Ole Miss, TCU and Florida.

Keelon Russell, along with Michael Carroll, Ty Haywood, Caleb Cunningham and Dijon Lee form the Crimson Tide's quintet of five-star recruits. Alabama has landed 22 commitments from the class of 2025. Twelve of them are four-star recruits, while four are three-star prospects.

Alabama will hope to land more significant commitments in the upcoming weeks and strengthen its roster.
