Ian Jackson is enjoying a terrific freshman season for the North Carolina Tar Heels. He has started four of 15 games for Hubert Davis' side and helped them to a 10-6 record this season.
On Thursday, Sports Center NEXT posted some highlights on Instagram from his high school, Our Saviour Lutheran (Bronx, NY). The highlights showed Jackson running riot in the offense as he converted 3-pointers and ran back on defense to clear boards.

How good was Ian Jackson in high school?
Ian Jackson played for Jelly Fam in Overtime Elite and averaged 23.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.6 steals per game. Jackson also played for Cardinal Hayes High School in New York.
The 6-foot-4 guard led Hayes to the Class AA state title, averaging 19.8 ppg, 5.0 rpg and 4.0 apg. Furthermore, he also represented Team USA in the 2021 FIBA U16 Americas, 2022 U17 World Championships and 2023 U19 World Cup.
With offers from Kentucky, Arkansas, LSU and more, Jackson committed to North Carolina in 2023.
