Duke commit and son of the former Chicago Bulls player Carlos Boozer, Cameron Boozer has been a huge asset for the Columbus Explorers. He also helped the Explorers to a thrilling 72-62 win against Bella Vista on Thanksgiving day after he and his twin brother Cayden Boozer scored 20 points each.

Cameron Boozer was asked to build his perfect player in a story uploaded by a digital creator named Chris Beltran. His story was reposted by the Instagram page of Columbus Basketball as the No. 2 recruit in the Class of 2025 named players based on speed, vertical, shooting, and more.

For speed, Cameron Boozer named 1-time NBA All-Star De'Aaron Fox, for vertical, he named 2-time NBA All-Star Zion Williamson and for shooting, the 6-foot-9 power forward picked 2-time NBA Scoring Champ Stephen Curry.

He picked 1-time NBA All-Star Darius Garland for handling, 8-time NBA All-Defensive Draymond Green, and the 2-time NBA Total Rebound Champ Domantas Sabonis for rebounding. When asked about finishing and clutch, Boozer chose 8-time NBA All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo and Stephen Curry, respectively. Boozer chose 4-time NBA Champ LeBron James for his basketball IQ.

When asked what would be the player's 2K rating, this is what Boozer said:

"99."

Last season, the Miami, FL native averaged 22.2 ppg, 11.4 rpg, 2.7 apg, 1.6 spg, and 2.1 bpg in 30 games. He also led Team USA to the 2023 FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship gold medal with 16.8 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 2.5 spg, and 1.2 apg.

Both the Boozer twins committed to Duke on Oct. 11. While talking to On3, Cameron Boozer stated that they were considering the offer from Miami also, but chose Duke because of its infrastructure:

“There’s great tradition at both schools so there was really no wrong answer. But I think what Duke has in terms of infrastructure they’ve built over the years and the amazing coaching staff they’ve put together made the difference for us.”

Cayden and Cameron Boozer set to feature in the upcoming Army National Guard event

The Boozer twins will be in action once again as they are set to represent the Explorers in the Army National Guard Hoophall Invitational on Dec. 6 and 7 in the Miami Dade College Kendall Campus, Miami, FL.

He will be joined by other top players including Jermaine O'Neal, Jalen Reece, and more with teams such as Columbus Explorers, Oak Ridge, Riviera Prep, Dynamic Prep, Westminister, Socal Academy, Sagemont, Combine, Gonzaga, and West Oaks competing against each other.
