5-star Duke signee Shelton Henderson was indeed on top of his game at the just concluded Cotton Holiday Classic, which ran from the 27th to the 29th of December. Popular sports page @billionairevsns made a post on Thursday to highlight the Bellaire High School star's incredible performances at the tournament. The post has generated different responses and reactions from fans and even fellow athletes.
One particular response that appeared striking was that of fellow Duke commit Cayden Boozer. The five-star point guard took to the comments to express his admiration for Henderson with a 3-word reaction:
"He's my goat," he said.
Fellow high school basketball star Julian Fredericks was also seen in the comments with an encouraging remark:
"Keep goin!!!," he said.
A major part of the comments also followed suit, singing the player's praise, and some even comparing him to some top NBA veterans:

In total, 6-foot-5 Ballaire small forward Shelton Henderson was Featured in three matches at the King Cotton Holiday Classic. He ended up with a total of 59 points, averaging 19.7 points per game in the tournament.
Specifically, the 18-year-old prospect put up an impressive 25 points in the Cardinal's first game, which was a 61-45 win against Pine Bluffs, while in the second game, which was a loss, he managed to score 15 points. In the third and final game of the tournament, he put up an impressive 19 points and 11 rebounds to help the Cardinals to a narrow 68-67 victory against Bryant High School.
Shelton has been a crucial part of the Cardinals this season, currently avaraging 16.9 points and 6.9 rebounds this season. Hopefully, he will continue his impressive run to help Bellaire to a successful season.
5-star Duke signee Shelton Henderson to Join the Boozers at Duke
Shelton Henderson is only one of the four class of 2025 recruits to have committed to Duke. He is also joined by the Boozer brothers, Cameron and Cayden Boozer, alongside Harvard Westlake power forward Nikolas Khamenia, who have also committed to the Blue Devils.
For now, the 6-foot-5 forward will be focused on helping Bellaire High School as they take on Great Crossing High School in their next game on Saturday. They will be hoping to build up on their victory against Bryant to kickstart the new year with a win.
