Four-star point guard and Duke commit Cayden Boozer reacted to the Blue Devils' season opener against Maine. He shared a post about the team's win on his Instagram story and added three faces with sunglasses emojis. The Blue Devils defeated the Black Bears 96-62.
His twin brother, five-star power forward and the No. 2 overall recruit for the Class of 2025, Cameron Boozer, also posted on his Instagram story.
It was a dominant outing for the Blue Devils, as Kon Knueppel led the team with 22 points. Meanwhile, Cooper Flagg made his Duke debut and filled up the stat sheet with 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals, becoming the first Duke freshman to record at least 10 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals in a debut game.
The Blue Devils' next game will be against Army West Point on Friday.
Cameron and Cayden Boozer are not the only big names heading to Duke from Class of 2025
After Cameron and Cayden Boozer, another big name has committed to Duke as Belair High School (Texas) star and five-star prospect Shelton Henderson is also headed to Durham. He is ranked No. 15 overall, per 247Sports, and No. 16 overall, per On3 Industry Ranking.
Henderson has not been shy about Duke being his "dream school" as it has produced a lot of NBA players. He also spoke highly about the school's "great atmosphere and history."
Henderson chose Duke over Louisville, Texas, Texas Tech and Houston, among others. He will play alongside Cameron Boozer, Cayden Boozer and Nik Khamenia next year, with 247Sports' Adam Finkelstein noting that he will be an "ideal fit" with the other commits.
While Cameron Boozer is the highest-ranked player for the class, Cayden is ranked No. 21. Nik Khamenia is ranked No. 27, per 247Sports Composite, although he may give up the starting power forward spot. Cameron will likely take over Cooper Flagg, who is projected to join the NBA draft next year.
