Carmelo Anthony's son Kiyan Anthony drops 2-word message to create buzz around his clothing brand's new collection

Kiyan Anthony, son of NBA legend Carmelo Anthony and a rising basketball star, is turning heads both on and off the court. The 16-year-old basketball star-turned-entrepreneur recently generated buzz for his clothing brand, One Way Clothing, by teasing its latest collection.

The brand's official Instagram handle, @onewayclothingny, announced the launch of the new collection on Thursday with a post captioned:

“SWAG IS MY SERENITY” GRAY THERMAL LONG SLEEVE👽.

Adding to the excitement, Kiyan re-shared the announcement to his Instagram with a short but impactful two-word message:

“One Week!!!”

The new collection, set to drop on January 16, 2025, includes the gray thermal long sleeve decorated with high-quality rhinestones, priced at $87. Balancing his entrepreneurial spirit with his basketball career, Kiyan Anthony has made significant strides as a high school athlete.

While leading his team on the court, he continues to grow One Way Clothing, which achieved a six-figure valuation within months of its launch earlier this year. He founded One Way Clothing in 2023 in partnership with his friend, Jadyn.

Kiyan has revealed the backstory of how he came up with the idea of his now highly successful clothing brand, the Overtime reality series, 'The Evolution.'

"We [Kiyan Anthony & Jaden] were always into fashion," he said."So we were like, 'Why don't we just try a clothing brand, and we just did it?' We went all out, put everything into it, and yeah, it's where it's at now—a six-figure brand,” shared the young shooting guard.

Based in Harlem, Kiyan’s brand offers T-shirts, hoodies, and joggers featuring the brand's logo. The business operates online and through pop-up events in New York City.

Is Kiyan Anthony ready to return to the court?

Kiyan has been out of action since he got injured during the LuHi’s game against St. Joseph on Nov 30, 2024. Following his nasty fall, Kiyan missed the high-profile game against Sierra Canyon, where his team registered a 65–50 win. The 4-star prospect was also sidelined in the Dec. 7 game against defending national champions Montverde Academy and the Dec. 15 game against Chris Cenac-led Link Academy.

However, the Syracuse commit returned to practice last Friday and is ready to make his comeback in the La Porte Invitational on January 10.

The 17-year-old provided the update about his return by sharing a post on the League Ready Instagram page on his Instagram story on Thursday. The original post featured Kiyan Anthony's image with the bold text, “Kiyan Anthony Is Back,” and a video featuring the 6-foot-5 guard practicing.
