The Class of 2025 No. 34 ranked player Kiyan Anthony is playing in the Nike EYBL for Team Melo. In a video uploaded by Overtime on Oct. 19, Anthony was seen with a unique pre-game eating habit.
The video also showed highlights of an intense 64-63 loss against GA Stars. However, that's not where it ended. After the loss, when he was heading home, Anthony had a blowout on the road after one of his car tires got deflated.
However, fortunately for him, a helpful family arrived at the scene and helped them replace the tire. Producer Tae stated that he was nervous and was about to call for a tow service before they got help.
"After the loss, we headed home and then boom. Tae had his own car out in P Jam, so he was always ahead of us and I just see Tae behind his car with a whole another family, so we hop out, we like what's going on and then I see his wheel is like completely flat and the guy literally helping him put on a whole new wheel," said Anthony. However, all was well in the end for Anthony and Tae as they thanked the family and even took a picture with them later.
With Anthony heading to the new season in high school basketball, the fans await his college decision. According to On3's recruitment prediction machine, Anthony is predicted to follow in his father's footsteps and join Carmelo Anthony's alma mater Syracuse.
Kiyan Anthony practices with his GOAT
While LeBron James vs Michael Jordan is a regular barber shop debate, Kiyan Anthony's Greatest of All Time (GOAT) is the 9x NBA All-Star Paul George.
In a video uploaded by 2Cool2Blog on X, Anthony was seen training with PG13. Also, Carmelo Anthony put up some shots while George prepared for the next NBA season.
The Long Island Lutheran High School player averaged 19.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in the Nike EYBL. In a match against Pro Skills Elite, Anthony converted half of his attempts from beyond the arc and scored 28 points.
While Anthony will hope to get selected at the 2026 NBA Draft, he is yet to announce which college he will play for. After Syracuse, Auburn and USC are the other two colleges on Anthony's list. Which college do you think we will see Kiyan Anthony play for?
