Four-star recruit Kiyan Anthony ranks at the 36th spot on the 2025 ESPN 100 Recruiting Database. Son of NBA legend Carmelo Anthony, he ranks at the ninth spot amongst guards, seventh regionally and first in his state.
Just like other athletes who are getting ready to start their collegiate journey, the younger Anthony is also going through the process of choosing his preferred college. The Middle Village, New York native is a four-star recruit according to ESPN, On3, 247Sports and Rivals. While he has interests from a lot of programs across the nation, Anthony shared an image from his visit to the USC Trojans on Thursday. Distance-wise, this is the program that is farthest from his home.
Anthony has received offers from Arizona State, West Virginia, UCF, Syracuse, Rutgers, Auburn, Florida State, Providence, USC, Indiana, Ohio State, and more. However, only Auburn, Florida State, Ohio State, Rutgers, Syracuse and USC made his cut.
Rutgers are the next team on Kiyan Anthony's timeline. He will visit the Scarlet Knights next weekend, on Oct. 4. According to 247Sports, Anthony started getting offers back in 2022 with the George Mason Patriots becoming the first program to make an offer in July. The same year, he received more offers from the Bryant Bulldogs, Memphis Tigers, Manhattan Jaspers and the Syracuse Orange.
In 2023, the Long Island Lutheran High School player got offers from Providence, Massachusetts, Seton Hall, Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Florida State, Dayton, Maryland, Michigan, Pittsburgh and UCF. However, Anthony visited only Florida State and Syracuse in October.
Anthony has received offers from Arizona State, Ohio State, Rutgers and USC in 2024 as he continues his visits.
