Lonzo Ball controlled the game with a triple-double, recording 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists. As the leader of Chino Hills, he dictated the tempo with his passing and transition play, consistently creating scoring opportunities for his teammates, spearheading his school to a historic 35–0 season.

On the other side, Bam Adebayo played a physical game, finishing with 25 points and 12 rebounds. His presence in the paint and ability to finish through contact made him a constant threat. Despite High Point Christian Academy's loss, Adebayo’s performance was proof that he was one of the best big men in the country.

LiAngelo Ball was the leading scorer of the three, pouring in 42 points through perimeter shooting and hard drives to the basket. LaMelo Ball, just a freshman, contributed 18 points, adding to the team’s relentless scoring counterattack. Chino Hills’ signature uptempo style, averaging nearly 100 points per game that season, overwhelmed High Point Christian and proved their ability to dominate even top-ranked schools.

Scoring an average of 98.5 points per game and beating teams by an average of 27 points, their season ended with a CIF Open Division state title, cementing their status as one of the best high school teams in the country.

After their historic run, Lonzo went on to play at UCLA where he led the nation in assists before being drafted No. 2 overall by the Lakers in 2017. LiAngelo briefly played overseas and in the G League, while LaMelo took his talents to Lithuania and Australia before being drafted No. 3 overall in 2020. LaMelo won NBA Rookie of the Year in 2021, a feat his older brother Lonzo did not get to achieve.
