Colorado commit Julian Lewis shares Coach Prime quote calling him "one of the top high school quarterbacks in the country"

The Colorado Buffaloes' new quarterback commit, Julian Lewis, is one of the best QBs in the country, as per the Buffs' head coach, Deion Sanders. Lewis announced his commitment to the Buffaloes on Nov. 21 after de-committing from the USC Trojans.

The 6-foot-1 quarterback chose Colorado over other top teams such as Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Penn State.

On Wednesday, Rivals' Instagram page shared a quote by Sanders talking about Lewis, saying Colorado had just secured "one of the top high school quarterbacks in the country."

Shortly thereafter, Lewis shared the Coach Prime quote on his Instagram story.

The four-star prospect is ranked No. 39 in the country and is the sixth-best quarterback in the Class of 2025, as per On3's Industry Ranking. He is also the sixth-best overall prospect in the state of Georgia.

Julian Lewis talked highly about Deion Sanders after his commitment to Colorado

Julian Lewis, a four-star recruit at Carrollton High School, announced his commitment to the Colorado Buffaloes on Nov.21. He was previously committed to the USC Trojans, but flipped his commitment following an October visit to the Boulder.

The talented quarterback spoke highly about his new head coach, Deion Sanders in a statement after his commitment.

"It’s a huge opportunity! What Coach Prime has been able to build in two seasons can’t be denied. I’ve had a chance to get to know him and believe that he can further develop me into the player and person that I want to be," Julian Lewis said, as per On3. "Coach Prime is going to play the best player, whether it’s a freshman or a walk-on."

The Buffaloes' Class of 2025 is currently ranked No. 65 in the country, as per 247Sports. They have landed just 11 commitments from the class and have plenty of work to do going forward. However, acquiring Lewis might go a long way in securing the commitments of other star athletes from the class.

Lewis became Colorado's fourth four-star recruit after the pledges of Chauncey Gooden, Adrian Wilson and Quanell X Farrakhan Jr.
