Mikel Brown Jr. Reflects on NIL Success
Adidas has been strengthening its presence in high school basketball through strategic NIL deals, and Brown is one of its standout talents. The DME Academy star shared insights about his journey with Adidas in a Nov. 10 interview on the brand's YouTube channel:
"The Adidas deal. It's been going on for quite some time. I've been with Adidas for two, going on three years now."
Brown also highlighted how competing at elite levels paved the way for his partnership:
"I think that alone, just being the building block of Adidas, playing at a high level, playing Under-17s for three years, I think that is what carried on into getting this deal done 'cause it's a family and I've been a part of their family for a minute."
Mikel Brown Jr.'s on-court dominance and marketability have made him a sought-after prospect for top college programs. The five-star point guard has already visited Louisville and is considering offers from several programs, including Kentucky, Indiana, Alabama and UCF.
