Cayden Boozer is currently one of the best high school point guards today and is part of one of the best high school basketball teams, the Columbus Explorers, with his twin brother, Cameron. To his mom, CeCe Boozer, however, he will always be that cute kid she raised.
An Instagram page featured the Boozer Twins in a video on Friday. It was made ahead of Columbus competing at Made Hoops' "The Main Event" earlier this month. This was when CeCe Boozer replied to the post.
"Cowboy Cayden is too cute!" said CeCe Boozer regarding her son, Cayden Boozer.
CeCe Boozer is the ex-wife of Carlos Boozer. She often comments on posts featuring her sons, showing her pride at their achievements.
As for why she said her son is "too cute," the twins were filming a video inside their Miami, Florida home. When the video showed what was inside Cayden's room, it revealed a framed picture of him and his brother when they were still very little. They were all wearing cowboy hats, hence CeCe calling him "Cowboy Cayden."
The video also showed the twins' championship rings. It also featured Cameron and Cayden Boozer going up against Jermaine O'Neal Jr. and Dynamic Prep. Columbus won that game 73-55.
Cameron and Cayden Boozer have a grueling three-day task ahead of them at the Jordan Holiday Classic
The Boozer Twins are in the "Concrete Jungle" itself, New York City, for the Jordan Holiday Classic at Baruch College from Dec. 27-29. The Columbus Explorers will be the only team to compete on all three days of the event. This would be grueling, as they will be taking on three of the top schools in the country.
Their first order of business will be against four-star UConn commit Eric Reibe, four-star Marquette commit Adrien Stevens, and the Bullis School Bulldogs on Sunday. The school is ranked the No. 1 in Maryland by On3.
Their next opponent will be the best team in New York, Long Island Lutheran, which is led by another NBA legacy in four-star Syracuse Kiyan Anthony, son of Carmelo Anthony.
The team also has five-star Dylan Mingo and four-stars Kayden Mingo and Nigel James to back him up. The team had been struggling without their star player, though Kiyan is expected to return from injury on Saturday.
Their final game will be against five-star power forward Chris Cenac, Andre Iguodala Jr. and the rest of the Link Academy Lions on Sunday. The team is also a top team, ranked the best in Missouri. It will be the battle of two of the country's best power forwards, with Cenac expected to give Cameron a run for his money.
