Four-star interior offensive lineman Grant Wise is one of the major targets of Oregon in the 2026 class. Oregon Ducks offensive line coach A’lique Terry has made him an early priority and visited the standout prospect from Pace High School (Florida) on Thursday. Wise shared the excitement on X, writing:
"Great visit with Coach Terry tonight‼️ Can’t wait to go back to Eugene🔥#ScoDucks 🦆 @105CoachTerry."
Wise’s relationship with Terry has grown since his first game-day visit to Oregon on Nov. 30, where he witnessed the Ducks' 49-21 victory over Washington. Following the trip, he raved about Terry, saying (via ScoopDuck):
“He is a great guy and coach. He cares for his guys but also keeps them accountable. Coach Terry is very passionate about his job and it shows when he is coaching and through his players on the field.”
Ahead of Terry's visit, Clemson offensive line coach Matt Luke visited him. According to the On3 Industry Rankings, he is the No. 17 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 class and the No. 37 recruit in Florida.
Grant Wise includes Oregon in his top 12 schools
Grant Wise announced his top 12 schools last month, and Oregon has made the list alongside Tennessee, Clemson, Miami, Penn State, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida and Ohio State.
In an interview with SI, Wise revealed how he made the list, saying:
“My relationship with the programs. I have been to all of the schools, I have seen everything and talked to the coaches. The relationship, the program’s success, and how they look in the o-line room is big to me.”
Oregon's top-ranked 2026 recruiting class offers Wise a strong platform. Aside from a promising cycle with numerous blue-chip prospects, the Ducks' personal touch bodes well for him.
“Oregon has my parents and I in a large group chat with most of the coaching staff; they message in there regularly," Wise said.
Wise is still narrowing down his options, and he hopes to narrow them even further by the end of the summer. He has not yet decided on the specific date of this decision.
