The John Wall Holiday Invitational, held from Dec. 26 to Dec. 30, ended over a week ago, but fans are still buzzing about the incredible performances displayed during the tournament. One standout performance was by 6-foot-3 Reidsville star Johnniyus Sharpe, who scored an impressive 56 points across three games.

In an Instagram post shared on Thursday by @slam_hs, fans got to see highlights of the Reidsville star in action at the tournament. The post, which featured a couple of videos, has generated numerous reactions from fans, most of which have been filled with praise and admiration.

"Dat boy a different breed 💯," one fan said.
"J9 is a baller !!!" said another.
"Walking 🪣fr! Keep going 9🫡," another fan wrote.

Some fans believe that the player has been underrated for a while and is only now receiving the recognition he deserves.

"Finally getting that credit he deserves. My boy been the truth 💪🏾," one fan said
"He’s been deserved some shine, and now y'all getting seee J9," another said
"J9 like that. He has been ballin before he got to Reidsville. He was getting it in a Cummings High," wrote another, referring to how good he's been at his previous school

Sharpe has been excelling this season, playing a pivotal role in the Reidsville team's success. The Rams are currently on a 12-game winning streak, and much of the credit goes to Sharpe, who is averaging 22.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.

Reidsville High School Remains Undefeated with Perfect 12-0 Record, Opens New Year with Four Straight Wins

The Reidsville High School basketball team has been in scorching form this season, dominating every opponent they have faced. The team has played twelve games so far and has convincingly won each one.

After closing out 2024 with an 8-0 record, they carried their momentum into thew new year with four consecutive victories. With their consistently high level of performance, it seems unlikely they'll be losing anytime soon.

Their next game is against Morehead High School on Jan. 17 as they look to continue their winning streak by securing another victory.
