"Definitely first round draft pick": Hoops fans react to rising hooper Connor Sprattley reaching 2000 point mark in his high school career 

Class of 2025 combo guard Connor Sprattley has been in terrific form for Jefferson Orange Wave this season. After coming off a 71-point game against the Curtis Warriors on Tuesday, Sprattley scored 40 points in the 113-64 win against South Shore on Jan. 11 to reach the 2000 career points mark.

Basketball page Ballislife took to Instagram to post some highlights of Sprattley's 40-point game that got him to his career milestone as he was seen dominating the South Shore defense, running riot in the paint, and converting shots from beyond the arc:

Another fan compared him to two-time NBA All-Star Stephon Marbury:

"This kid reminds me of Stephon Maurberry when he was at Lincoln. Praying for this kid to go really far man! Love seeing this!!! @sprattleyfam4 🫡."

"So does this mean he can get a D1 offer now? SMH does he need to have a 100 point game? SMH," this fan was shocked about Sprattley not having a college offer.

Connor Sprattley's teammate Jahda Swann comments on his game

New York's No. 1 player and Sprattley's teammate Jahda Swann talked about his game and leadership in a video uploaded on YouTube by NYC Basketball History on Tuesday:

"Yeah that's the (Sprattley) captain on the squad so, we got to go whatever he says cause he's the captain, he's the senior but yeah, Conor is great. When I'm not having good days, he's always having good days with scoring, playing defense, talking to us. So yeah, Conor is great." (00:00 - 0:16)
