With the Boozer Twins already committing to Duke, fans are now hoping that AJ Dybantsa signs with the school's eternal rival, the University of North Carolina. UNC is in Dybantsa's top seven possible landing spots.
With the rivalry between No. 2-ranked Cameron Boozer and No. 1-ranked Dybantsa continuing during Sunday's Utah Prep vs. Explorers Border League game, many hope it will continue in college.
An X account by the name of AJ Dybantsa Muse noted that the Dybantsa-Boozer rivalry continuing with a Duke-UNC rivalry would be "absolute cinema."
Of course, fans chimed in at the possibility, with some saying that they need this to happen and that it would be "lit."
"I need this," commented one fan.
"@aj.dybantsa make it happen bloody," said another.
"lets get it💥💥," another fan wrote.
However, other fans had a different take, with many saying that he may not even go to UNC.
"Don’t influence this nonsense 😑," one fan said.
"Well that’s not happening so…" another pointed out.
"Too bad he not going to Carolina," another fan chimed in.
Meanwhile, others pointed out that he is likely going to Brigham Young University, with the BYU Cougars having the highest probability of getting the five-star small forward's commitment.
"Too bad BYU is the best choice. Will have a legacy with that program. He goes to either of the other two and he’s not unique 💯," one commenter noted.
"BYU bought AJ. He’s not going to Provo to improve as a basketball player. He’s for the money. Anyone saying he’s not going to BYU for the money is only fooling themselves," another pointed out.
Despite the high probability of him landing at BYU, AJ Dybantsa has not yet committed to any school and will announce where he will be going in February next year.
