A Ballislife Instagram post on Sunday featured highlights of Williams Field's freshman Adan Diggs during the team's 64-61 loss to Highland High School on Friday.

However, while the post showcased some of Diggs' brilliant moments during the game, fan reactions have largely focused on the 6-foot-5 guard's appearance rather than his performance.

The majority of the comments suggested that Diggs appears older than a typical freshman. One fan even said he looked like he was 30 years of age:

"Dude looks 30," the fan said.
"Dude is definitely not a 9th grader," another fan said.

Some fans even felt that the 16-year-old had reclassified down to gain an advantage:

"How many times he reclassed?" one fan said.
"Reclass," said another.
"Real ballers play up," another fan said, implying that Diggs may have reclassified down instead of challenging himself against tougher competition.

One fan, however, took a moment to address the speculations and concerns on reclassification, arguing that age and reclassification don't matter in the bigger picture:

"Public Service Announcement!!! If you're a kid crying about reclasses, talk to your parents. If you are an adult crying about reclasses, that's too d*mn bad. College coaches are taking FRESHMAN no matter how old they are. Get in the gym...." the fan said.

Even as a freshman, Adan Diggs has been crucial to Williams Field High School's basketball performance this season. Despite the loss against Highland, the team is still currently on a 10-4 record this season. They will be hoping to bounce back with a win when they face South Mountain on Tuesday.

Adan Diggs already attracting offers from top college programs

Adan Diggs is considered one of the top Class of 2028 prospects in the country. He has already received 10 college offers from Arizona State, California, Creighton, LSU, Maryland, Massachusetts, Oregon, Washington, West Virginia, and Texas.

As a freshman, he obviously still has a lot of time to make his decision. However, in an interview with Pro Insights back in October, he stated his preferred school:

"Texas, for sure. I really like Texas and obviously the big blue blood schools like Duke," Diggs said. (4:22 - 4:25)

More offers are likely to come in for the young star, especially if he keeps up his current level of performance and continues developing at this impressive pace.
