Five-star prospect Brandon Arrington is one of the most in-demand high school juniors by college football programs. The versatile high school star has attracted 33 college offers per 247Sports, and there may still be more coming. With so many options to choose from, Arrington may be considering a number of factors to arrive at his final decision.

Brandon Arrington revealed a potential timeline for his commitment in a recent interview with On3’s Josh Newberg. He told Newberg he should have reached a decision on which college to attend by the end of his junior year. He further said,

“Probably like somewhere near track season. I'll say basketball season.”

He was then asked what he considers the most important thing when making his commitment decision. To that, he answered:

“You know, I'll say just feeling love. You know, just coaches being on me, showing that they really want me. You know, a great coach with a great history that gets people to the league, because that's where I want to go in a few more years.” (4:17-4:33)

Brandon Arrington's college options

Brandon Arrington is 6-foot-2 and weighs 180 pounds, sporting an athletic frame that lends to his swift speed and good stamina. He is a versatile prospect who gives a coach options on how and where to deploy him on the gridiron. Arrington has played on both sides of the ball throughout his football career and is the No. 1 ATH nationally, according to On3.

Arrington has been approached with an offer by several top colleges including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Oregon, and Florida State. He also has offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Nebraska, USC, and Washington among others.

He has taken visits to Oklahoma, Alabama, USC, Texas A&M, and Nebraska, and has another visit to the Aggies scheduled to coincide with their matchup with LSU. The five-star prospect was asked by Newberg which program is his favorite. He said:

“I'll say Texas A&M. Like their fanbase is like insane. It was just insane just being there and watching everything.”

His previous visit was during the Aggies’ season opener against Notre Dame where they suffered their only loss of the season so far. But this did nothing to affect the impression he got from the atmosphere. He'd earlier revealed his admiration of Texas A&M to On3's Chad Simmons:

“I like everything about Texas A&M. The staff and everybody is on me and they told me I'm their No. 1 target right now and they show it. I will be at Texas A&M a lot this year.”
