Koa Peat, a five-star power forward in the Class of 2025, narrowed down his commitment list to five schools on Wednesday, November 6.

The Perry High School star received over 30 institutions across the nation. He named Arizona, Arizona State, Texas, Baylor and Houston his final five options. Earlier, Kansas, Arkansas, North Carolina and Duke were also in contention to land the 6-foot-8 forward.

Texas, Baylor and Houston closely follow them with 12.6%, 10.5% and 10.5% chance, respectively. Peat is one of the top recruits from the class of 2025.

He is ranked No. 6 overall in the country, No. 3 in power forward rankings, and No. 1 in Arizona. He was also named among the top 25 players from the Class of 2025 to the Class of 2027.

The Arizona-born power forward unofficially visited the Arizona Wildcats facility on February 17. They were among the first few teams to make an offer to the youngster.

"They’ve been great through the recruiting process, building a relationship with them. Everyone has been cool. I get to go down there a lot and get to see it because it’s not that far," he said about the Wildcats.

Koa Peat has made an official visit to all of his top five schools. Each of these schools would love to have him on their roster, considering the immense talent he possesses.
