Alvin Henderson, a four-star running back from Elba High School, had a fantastic final season at the high school level. The four-star rusher became the 12th player in high school history to reach career 10,000 yards during Elba's first-round playoff game against the Verbena.

Henderson shared the highlights of his career on his Instagram story. The 5-foot-9 running back has tallied 10,766 rushing yards and 193 touchdowns while averaging 195.7 yards per game. He also tied the former Dallas Cowboys legend, Emmitt Smith's record of 45 consecutive games with 100-plus rushing yards.

Henderson is currently eighth in the list of high school career rushing yards. The list includes players such as Derrick Henry and Ken Hall. He is third in the list of career rushing touchdowns with 193 and is only behind Johnathan Gray (205) and Michael Hart (204).

The Auburn commit racked up 3,456 yards and 61 touchdowns this year while leading his team to a record of 11-3. Henderson flipped his commitment to Auburn from Penn State on June 21, 2024. The rusher's pledge and his performance this season will definitely excite Auburn fans.

He chose the Tigers' program over schools such as Alabama, Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Notre Dame.

Alvin Henderson spoke about breaking Mac Campbell's all-time rushing record

The four-star prospect from Elba, Alabama, Alvin Henderson broke the state record for most rushing yards in the final regular season game this year. He broke a 27-year-old record set by Alexandria's Mac Campbell.

Henderson holds the state records for most touchdowns in a game, nine; most rushing yards in a season, 3,523 in 2023; and most touchdowns in a season, 69, also set last year. He was understandably proud to break the record as he spoke about it after doing so.

"I was proud I broke the record," the 5-9 athlete said, as per AL.com. "I wanted to break the record but I also wanted to do it versus a quality defense."

Alvin Henderson will look to carry his stellar form in Auburn, to whom he pledged his allegiance in June 2024. He is ranked No. 127 in the country and is the seventh-best rusher in the Class of 2025, as per On3. He is also the eighth-best overall prospect from the state of Alabama.

No matter how his career develops, Henderson has cemented his legacy at Elba as the team's best running back.
