The much-anticipated clash between the Boozer twins (Cameron and Cayden) and the Ellis brothers (Isaac and Eli) eventually took place during the Mid-South Basketball Classic 2024 game in Memphis, Tennessee. The game ended with the Boozers and their Los Explorers team narrowly defeating Moravian Prep, led by the Ellis brothers.
With their former NBA All-Star father, Carlos Boozer, watching from the sidelines, the Boozers won the matchup, but it was a close back-and-forth contest, with Los Explorers beating Moravian Prep 78-75.
Fans reacted to the close match, with many commenting that the Boozer twins were a great duo, and so were the Ellis brothers.
"Boozers got good interior offense n ellis’s got tuff exterior, hard to compare then frl," one fan wrote.
Fans of the Ellis brothers also complimented the Moravian duo, with many saying that Isaac Ellis did particularly well against the Boozers.
"Isaac so scrappy and active I love it," said one fan.
"Good Game Moravian held there own," another one wrote.
Another fan praised the Ellis brothers:
"Ellis bros all the way never even heard of the other guys."
"Eli is tough but idk why I like Isaac more. Id also draft Boozer ahead of AJ."
The Boozer brothers also received some love from fans after their hard-fought victory.
Boozer Twins announcing college choice soon
As the Boozer twins continue their rise in the world of basketball, one question remains on the minds of fans: where will they go after high school?
For now, Cameron and Cayden have yet to commit to any college. However, they have already narrowed down their choices to two: Duke University and Miami. It is still unknown whether the brothers will go separate ways, with one possibly going to Miami and the other going to Duke.
Many fans believe they might follow in their father's footsteps and pick Duke, as Carlos Boozer is a legend at the school, helping the Blue Devils win the 2001 national championship. That being said, their final decision will reportedly be announced on October 10.
