Chaminade-Madonna vs. St. Thomas Aquinas game preview
St. Thomas Aquinas and Chaminade-Madonna are two of the best high school football teams in the state of Florida and bragging rights are at stake. Both teams have a lot of Division 1 talent as well.
As stated by Max Preps, Chaminade-Madonna averages 182 rushing yards per game and 298 passing yards per game. Similarly, St. Thomas Aquinas averages 165.2 rushing yards per game and 181 passing yards per game.
The keys to victory for Chaminade-Madonna are passing the ball well on offense and mixing in the run game. Defensively, they got to stop the run. St. Thomas Aquinas have a lot of speed out of the backfield.
On the contrary, the Aquinas will need to run the ball proficiently on offense. Their offensive scheme has to get players open and keep the defense on their toes. Defensively, they need to put pressure on the quarterback and stop Chaminade's high-powered pass game.
