Five 2025-class Crimson Tide recruits to look out for during Alabama vs. Georgia clash (Week 5)

The No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide are gearing up for their much-anticipated clash against No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. Fans are excited for the game, but more for the future of the Crimson Tide.

Coach Kalen DeBoer will debut in the Southeastern Conference against a formidable Georgia squad. With the stakes already high, Alabama will also host over 80 top-tier high school recruits for the event.

#5. Keelon Russell – 5-star Quarterback

Keelon Russell is among the highly admired quarterbacks in the 2025 recruitment window. He got a five-star rating sometime back. Getting up to No. 9 in the Rivals rankings after his wonderful performances during the summer is one of the best in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

Duncanville High School had a 14-1 record in 2023 thanks to his guidance, becoming Texas 6A Division 1 state champions for the second straight year.

#4. Michael Carroll – 5-star Defensive Lineman

Michael Carroll, a defensive line force from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, is a top-tier commitment for the Crimson Tide. Carroll gave his word to Alabama in June 2024, but his recruitment hasn't been tampered with.

The lineman has got substantial attention from Michigan and Penn State. Carroll stirred up some buzz after visiting Miami, where he had witnessed the Hurricanes blow away Ball State 62-0.

#3. Ty Haywood – 5-star Offensive Tackle

Ty Haywood committed to Alabama in June 2024. He ranks as the No. 2 offensive tackle and the No. 11 overall player in the nation, according to 247Sports composite rankings.

Haywood had his best-ever shots put performances in his junior year. His achievement stood at 58-feet-6, and he got into the Texas 5A regionals as a freshman with a high score of 54-6.75.

Dj’on Lee is one of the top defensive prospects in the 2025 recruiting class and is committed to Alabama. The cornerback from Mission Viejo High School in California is ranked as the No. 1 cornerback and No. 2 overall player by Rivals.

#1. Caleb Cunningham – 5-star Wide Receiver

Caleb Cunningham is a wide receiver from Choctaw County High School in Mississippi.

Cunningham, who committed to Alabama in June 2024, is ranked as the No. 3 wide receiver and No. 15 overall player. In 2023, Cunningham recorded 60 receptions for 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns.
