Five-star interior offensive lineman Michael Carroll is turning heads as one of the top interior offensive line prospects in the 2024 recruiting class. The standout at IMG Academy has been dominant in summer camps, where he has gone up against some of the most highly-regarded defensive linemen in the nation.

On Sept. 7, Mario Cristobal's Miami extended an offer to Carrol and he has shown an interest. According to On3's Izubee Charles, the Alabama commit will attend the Miami vs. Ball State game at Hard Rock Stadium this Saturday, September 14, at 3:30 p.m. ET.
Joining Carroll on the visit is another top offensive line prospect, four-star IMG Academy teammate Breck Kolojay. Miami's four-star edge rusher commit, Herbert Scroggins, is also scheduled to be in attendance, along with 2026 class athlete Derrek Cooper and Georgia Tech commit Derry Norris.
The Hurricanes have had a strong start to their 2024 season, defeating the Florida Gators 41-17 on August 31 and following that with a dominant 56-9 win against Florida A&M. Ball State also started the season with a win, defeating Missouri State 42-34 in their opener on Sept. 7.
This upcoming matchup between Miami and Ball State will be their first meeting on the football field. Ball State will also make history by facing both Miami (FL) and Miami (OH) in the same season, becoming the first team to do so since Central Michigan in 2019.
