Five-star Oregon signee Dakorien Moore proved his elite talent at the Under Armour All-American Game in Orlando on Thursday, earning MVP honors after an electrifying performance. The wide receiver totaled 136 all-purpose yards, with three of his four touches going for over 20 yards, leading Team Icon to a 31-19 victory over Team Unstoppable.

Moore wasted no time setting his sights on Eugene, Oregon. Arriving on campus Friday, he shared a snap of the Ducks’ facilities on X, captioning the post:

"@oregonfootball let’s work🎸."

Oregon signed Dakorien Moore on National Signing Day on Dec. 4. The Ducks will kick off their 2025 season on Aug. 30 against Montana State, and fans are eager to see Moore donning the green and yellow.

After staying undefeated throughout the season, Oregon's 2024 season ended with a 41-21 loss to Ohio State in the Rose Bowl on Wednesday. Having a future playmaker like Moore, the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2025 class, Dan Lanning and his coaching staff are determined to bounce back.

Dakorien Moore opens up about his historic 83-yard touchdown

Dakorien Moore delivered a jaw-dropping performance during the Under Armour All-American Game that landed him on SportsCenter’s Top 10 plays. He returned a bouncing punt 83 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter, marking the third-longest punt return and punt return touchdown in the event’s history.

Moore's remarkable play also ranks as the sixth-longest touchdown ever in the game, with his 83 punt return yards placing fourth all-time. In a postgame interview with ESPN, he credited divine intervention, saying:

"I ain't gonna lie, when that ball had another bounce it came to me. It was God telling me to pick it up."

Dakorien Moore also explained the rarity of such opportunities, saying:

"As a returner, you want the ball so bad, you know you don't get too many of those opportunities where the ball actually comes to you because they don't want to kick you the ball. So when I took it, it was just God telling me get away."

Oregon five-star cornerback signee Na'eem Offord also did well in the game. Other Ducks signees Gavin Nix (linebacker) and Alai Kalaniuvalu (offensive lineman) made an impact as well, with Kalaniuvalu earning unofficial MVP recognition from ESPN’s Craig Haubert.
