Four-star offensive lineman Jackson Lloyd has remained committed to Alabama since June. Despite his commitment to the Crimson Tide, he is still hearing from some schools, but his mindset is clear.

"I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else," Lloyd told Bama247.

The 6-foot-7, 300-pound prospect is a member of Alabama's 2025 class, which ranks No. 1 in the nation with 23 committed players.

Lloyd was identified early on as a priority recruit by coach Kalen DeBoer and his staff. After DeBoer took over at Alabama in the post-Nick Saban era in January, one of his first moves was to confirm that Lloyd’s offer still stood.

For Lloyd, DeBoer’s leadership offers the "best of both worlds," combining Alabama's storied football legacy with a fresh coaching perspective. He still believes in the notion, despite the Crimson Tide's slight downfall lately. Alabama is 3-2 in the Southeastern Conference, with the disappointing 40-35 loss to Vanderbilt on Oct. 5 and the 24-17 loss to Tennessee on Oct. 19.

However, Lloyd told Bama247 that he "100% believes" in DeBoer’s vision and is eager to see how the remainder of the season unfolds. The Crimson Tide did manage to bounce back with a commanding 34-0 win in their latest game on Oct. 26. Now, coming off an open week, No. 11 Alabama is preparing for a high-stakes matchup against No. 14 LSU on Saturday.

Jackson Lloyd's athletic profile

Jackson Lloyd attends Carmel High School in Carmel, California. His athletic journey began as a quarterback for his middle school’s flag football team, but he has since shifted roles to become a standout offensive lineman and now ranks as the top offensive lineman on the West Coast.

ESPN ranks Lloyd as the No. 9 prospect in California, the No. 14 offensive tackle and the No. 99 prospect in the 2025 class. Rivals places him as the No. 231 player in the country, the No. 21 offensive tackle in the cycle and the No. 21 player in the state.

On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power raved about Lloyd, saying he is a high-upside as well as a projectable offensive lineman. Power also commended him for being "light-footed, fluid, and coordinated."

Jackson Lloyd is a three-sport athlete who also plays baseball and basketball at high level. His future plans include enrolling at Alabama in early January, where he hopes to continue his development and potentially become a top contributor to Crimson Tide football.
