Four-star athlete Keisean Henderson dazzled in the Navy All-American Bowl last week, earning MVP honors in the West's 13-7 victory over the East. His recognition caught the attention of college programs, and Hugh Freeze's coaching staff took the opportunity to send him an offer for Auburn's 2026 class, though he is committed to Houston.

Henderson is a premier talent in the 2026 class, ranked No. 2 among athletes and No. 2 overall in Texas, as well as the No. 18 prospect nationally, according to On3. On Monday, he shared Auburn’s offer on X, tagging assistant director of player personnel Grant Miller.

"Auburn Offered🙏🏾 @G_miller11 @AuburnFootball #WarEagle," Henderson wrote.

The offer sparked attention from Auburn signee Alvin Henderson, who shares the same last name as Keisean. Alvin, a four-star running back signee in Auburn’s 2025 class, retweeted Keisean’s announcement with a playful recruitment pitch:

"Hendo x 2 🦅."

Alvin Henderson also had a phenomenal showing in the Navy All-American Bowl, earning the Player of the Year title after an incredible junior season.

Alvin racked up 3,620 rushing yards and 61 touchdowns. His official signing with Auburn during early signing day on Dec. 4 was a huge victory for Freeze’s staff, who now hope to sway Keisean Henderson to join the Tigers.

The Navy All-American Bowl has proven fruitful for Auburn beyond Alvin’s accolades, as the Tigers also secured a commitment from four-star wide receiver Devin Carter in the 2026 class.

Can Auburn flip Keisean Henderson from Houston?

Keisean Henderson’s ability to excel at quarterback, wide receiver and in the secondary makes him a standout prospect in the 2026 class. He is a lucrative target for Auburn, but the question is whether he would back off his pledge from Houston that he gave on May 27.

Despite having a 4-8 record, Henderson remains locked in with the Cougars.

"Everything has been smooth with Houston. I'm locked in. That's family," Henderson told Rivals. "It was a down year for them, but for me, it was a foundational year."

Rising interest from major programs like Auburn could test his commitment. The Tigers have been aggressive in their recruiting efforts, highlighted by flipping five-star quarterback Deuce Knight from Notre Dame for their 2025 class. With such momentum, Auburn could position itself as an attractive alternative for Henderson.

Auburn's 2026 class is one of the best in the nation with six committed players.
