Four-star defensive lineman Noah Clark from C.E. Jordan High School in North Carolina was already playing varsity football as a freshman just a month after he turned 14. He is now a third-year prospect and has received nearly 30 offers.

Clark has been making gameday visits to college programs, and his next destination will be Steve Sarkisian's Texas (6-0, 2-0 Southeastern Conference) when the No. 1-ranked Longhorns face the No. 5-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (5-1, 3-1) on Saturday.

Clark shared the news on X and tagged Sarkisian, defensive line coach Kenny Baker and assistant director of player personnel-defense Jimmy Jongebloed.

"I will be in Texas this weekend. @CoachSark @CoachK_Baker @Jimmy_UTFB @TexasFootball @adamgorney @RivalsFriedman @ChadSimmons_ @AnnaH247 @clintbrew247 @ACoachKing @jsc613 @JordanFalconsFB."

The upcoming game will be just the sixth meeting all-time between these two powerhouse programs. The undefeated Longhorns have had several big wins this season, including a 31-12 victory over Michigan on Sept. 7 and a 34-3 win over Oklahoma last weekend.

Meanwhile, Georgia is eager to reassert its dominance after suffering a disappointing 41-34 loss to Alabama on Sept. 28, which snapped a regular season win streak that started in the 2020 season.

However, the Bulldogs have bounced back with strong performances, including a 31-13 win against Auburn on Oct.5 and a 41-31 victory over Mississippi State on Saturday. This upcoming game against Texas will be their biggest test so far this season.

South Carolina remains the frontrunner for Noah Clark's commitment

Noah Clark received an offer from South Carolina last year, which was his first. It left a lasting impression on him as the offer announcement is still pinned on his X profile. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine has given the Gamecocks a 43% chance of securing his commitment.

South Carolina has four committed players in the 2026 class, which ranks No. 10 in the nation and No. 6 in the SEC. The cycle features four-star linebacker Rodney Colton, four-star tight end Jamel Howse, four-star edge rusher Keenan Britt and three-star interior offensive lineman Anthony Baxter.

Noah Clark is ranked by On3 Industry Rankings as the No. 229 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 22 defensive lineman in the 2026 class and the No. 11 recruit in North Carolina. While South Carolina leads the race, other contenders for his commitment include NC State with a 19.7% chance, Virginia with 16.9% and Duke with a slim 1.3%.
