Four-star tight end Brock Harris has received nearly 40 offers from college programs. This past Saturday, the junior visited Michigan, where he watched the Wolverines face the Oregon Ducks.
Harris was in the recruits section at the Big House and returned very impressed with the Wolverines despite the 38–17 loss to the Ducks. Speaking with Michigan recruiting insider Aidan Sen, he opened up about the experience:
"It was a really great day. The staff is awesome. The fans were awesome. Just a really great vibe. The game was really good. The Ducks are playing at a really high level but Michigan came out and held their own."
Harris paid close attention to Michigan tight end Colston Loveland who has had a breakout season with 49 catches, 523 yards and two touchdowns.
"The tight-end play was amazing. I could definitely see them using me the same way," Harris said.
Harris's experience in Michigan appears to have elevated the Wolverines on his list of potential destinations.
"Michigan is much higher on my radar now after the visit and they definitely have my attention," Harris said (via 247Sports).
This revelation could be significant for Michigan's 2026 recruiting class, which ranks No. 14. As of now, Michigan has yet to secure a commitment from a tight end in the cycle but is in the mix for top prospects such as Brayden Fogle, Lincoln Keyes and Jack Janda.
Brock Harris shares his biggest strength as a tight end
Brock Harris made a strong impression this summer as the top performer at the Under Armour Camp Series stop in Salt Lake City. According to the On3 Industry Rankings, he is not only Utah's top prospect but also ranks as the No. 2 tight end in the 2026 class and the No. 34 overall recruit nationwide.
Speaking with SBNation, the 6-foot-6, 240-pound prospect opened up about his most notable strength:
"My size and speed are pretty hard to overcome for HS linebackers and secondary’s. I am double teamed pretty much every down even when I’m lined up outside. My catching and route running and now more than ever my blocking are very strong."
Harris also earned an invite to the 2026 All-American Bowl, and many expect him to achieve five-star recruit status. However, he remains focused on self-improvement, particularly in his yards after catch and blocking abilities.
