Georgia vs Alabama: Who will end up recruiting 5-star Justus Terry?

It's a big weekend in the college football world, with a highly anticipated SEC matchup between the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide. Both teams have been having good seasons and been on a roll lately.

But it's not just a big week for college football in general, but a big week for college football recruits.

5-Star DL will be visiting Alabama for the heated matchup against Georgia

2025 5-star defensive line prospect Justus Terry of Manchester High School has been on everyone's recruiting board. Terry has offers from Top college football programs, including schools like Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Auburn, and more.

Per On3's Steve Wiltfong, Justus Terry will be visiting Alabama for their big game against Georgia on September 28. Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer and Georgia head coach Kirby Smart will be battling in the recruiting game as well as on the field to get Justus Terry to commit to their respective schools.

Georgia's Kirby Smart is known to be an excellent recruiter as he's gotten commitments from some of the top prospects in the country. The University of Georgia Football program is filled with 5 stars, highlighting Georgia's recruiting department.

Georgia is a dominant program but will that be enough to recieve a commitment from the 5-star? They currently have the #5 ranked 2025 class.

With a new regime in Tuscaloosa, Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide have been making some noise in recruiting. Alabama has 20 commits in their 2025 recruiting class, with four of them being 5-stars. Justus was offered by Alabama while Nick Saban was still the head coach.

Justus Terry was re-offered by Alabama in May 2023.

With Georgia being home for Justus, going to a college not far from there would seem ideal.

The big game

Alabama is hosting Georgia on September 28 and they'll also be hosting a multitude of top recruits. Both teams are 3-0 going into the game and it may be an indicator of the eventual National Champion.

While Justus Terry holds offers from both teams, he remains uncommitted.
