Hamiley Arenas, daughter of the three-time All-NBA Team member Gilbert Arenas, reacted to her brother Alijah Arenas’ teammate V’Elijah Miller's performance in a recent game.
On Dec. 28, through her Instagram story, she shared fyrehousemedia’s post with the caption:

The post features a picture of V’Elijah Miller, the combo guard from the Class of 2025, with the text:
“HE WAS HOOPING AT THE CCC ️🔥”
The caption of the original post read:
“2025 Combo Guard Velijah Miller was doing Everything at the Capitol City Classic. He averaged 13pts 7rebs and 5 Assist and Helped lead chatworth 3-1 to finish the Tournament🔥🔥”
The following slide showcased his performance throughout the tournament. The Capitol City Classic was a tournament held in Salem, Oregon. In the 2024-25 season, V’Elijah’s versatile performance benefited his team on the court.
On Dec. 26, 2024, in the game against Inglewood, he recorded eight points, four assists and nine rebounds. His performance proved pivotal in a match against Sherwood, which helped Chatsworth secure a 68-59 win. He contributed 11 points in the game.
However, Chatsworth could not clinch the title in the championship game. Western Christian emerged as the winner of the tournament.
With his standout performances, Alijah Areans, Hamiley Arenas’ brother and V’Elijah Miller’s teammate, remained a key player for Chatsworth. In the game against Western Christian, he scored 37 points.

This is not the first time Hamiley Arenas has supported family or friends. Previously, she shared two posts about her brother Alijah Arenas’ show-stopping 56-point performance against Prescott High. Unfortunately, Alijah’s impeccable performance ended in a 93-87 overtime loss for Chatsworth.
In a thrilling match at The Classic at Damien tournament on Friday, Uriah Tennete, the Prescott player, hit a fadeaway jumper and tied the game. Uriah dropped 54 points, which eventually led to Prescott’s win.
On her Instagram story, in response to the post talking about Alijah’s performance, she made a playful remark, saying:
“ofc u wanna pop off when i’m not there smh @alijah0arenas”
On Thursday, Hamiley Arenas also sent best wishes to her friend and Scottie Pippens’ daughter, Sophie Pippens, on the latter’s birthday.
Hamiley has made impressive progress in her basketball career and is considered one of the emerging prospects of the Class of 2028. Her debut with Notre Dame featured 27 points, 13 rebounds and six assists, which established her as a key player.
She continued to shine with standout performances, including 22 points and 17 rebounds on Dec. 2 and a spectacular 40-point game on Dec. 9.
