Alijah Arenas, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard, is a five-star prospect and currently ranked No. 5 nationally in his class. Known for his scoring prowess, Alijah recently set a Damien Classic record by dropping 56 points against the Prescott Badgers on Dec. 27.

Hamiley Arenas, a freshman at Notre Dame Sherman Oaks, is also making waves in her own right. The 14-year-old standout scored 30 points in a victory against the Oceanside Pirates during the SoCal Holiday Prep Classic. Alijah praised her performance on Instagram, tagging her and adding an ice emoji:

"@hamileyarenas0 🥶."

Both siblings continue to deliver outstanding performances, cementing their place as rising basketball stars.

Hamiley Arenas is a ‘Goat in the Making’ as per her mother Laura Govan

Hamiley Arenas had a dream start to his high school basketball career. In her debut game against Campbell High, the young prodigy scored 27 points and had 13 rebounds. Since her resounding entry to the high school basketball scene, the 9th-grade varsity player has continued her momentum, turning heads one game after another, averaging 25.0 points per game for Notre Dame.

While their mother, Laura Govan, never misses a chance to appreciate her young daughter, Hamiley’s jaw-dropping 30-point game against the Oceanside Pirates truly left her in awe. Govan posted a series of videos acknowledging the elite skills of her daughter with a caption that truly captures her appreciation:

"Another 30-piece, huh!? 9th grade Huh!? A goat in the making," Govan captioned the post. "@hamileyarenas0 Leadership, sportsmanship, attitude, humility, and confidence—you got it ALL. Mija keeps grinding… Only The Beginning… @hamileyarenas0 #ProudMom 🏀

The Notre Dame Knights, supercharged by standout performances from Hamiley, are 10-4 overall this season. They will face the Dos Pueblos Chargers on Saturday.
