Gilbert Arenas' ex Laura Govan shares 2-word reaction to younger son Aloni Arenas' bucket moment

The Instagram account of former reality show star Laura Govan, ex of former NBA star Gilbert Arenas, is filled with the highlights of her kids. All her kids play basketball, and on Monday, she shared some highlights of her youngest child, Aloni Arenas.

"Easy sauce @aloniarenas," Laura Govan wrote in her caption.

In that clip, she showed the middle school basketball sensation scoring with a teardrop over defenders. In the following Instagram stories, she shared that he dropped a couple of threes, and Arenas scored during a fast break in another story.

Arenas is part of the class of 2030 and would not even be thinking about which college would recruit him anytime soon. Top25scouts, which ranks basketball prospects, classifies him as a four-star and is within the top 100 of the class. However, Arenas is still in 7th grade, which means he has plenty of time to go up in the rankings once he finally gets to high school.

All four of Gilbert Arenas' and Govan's children play basketball and have had note-worthy careers so far. The eldest, Izela, is a 3-point scorer for the Louisville Cardinals as a college freshman, while the second child, Alijah, is a five-star prospect. Meanwhile, the youngest daughter, Hamiley, is making waves as a freshman guard for Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks), and Aloni is a rising star, too.

Laura Govan believes Gilbert Arenas is not doing enough as a father

It is no secret that Laura Govan does not get along with the father of her children, Gilbert Arenas. She has been primarily at odds with him over raising their children, and they have even gone to court on the matter multiple times, especially over child support.

During an Oct. 30 interview with Carlos King, she revealed that she found the former Washington Wizards guard lacking as a father, as he often lavishes them with expensive gifts but does not give them the essentials, especially when he got a judge to lower his child support payments for them.

“They don’t need chains. My son had a chain with diamonds in them. What we doing? How about you pay for his school? How about you buy them shoes?” Govan said.

While Arenas does pay $7,000 per month on child support, she says that this is not nearly enough, especially as she is usually the one raising them.
