Laura Govan, Gilbert Arenas’ ex-partner, never hesitates when it comes to showing support for her children. On Jan. 16, the Instagram account 'The Hoop Spill' shared a post featuring the youngest son of the three-time NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas, Aloni Arenas, in the cover picture.

“Top 7th Grader Aloni Arenas is a PROBLEM 🤯 The youngest Arenas is a KILLER 😤 @aloniarenas,” the caption of the post read.

In the clip posted, the young athlete can be seen pulling off 3-pointers, dunking smoothly and getting his way around the defenders. Aloni, who is only in the seventh grade, displayed the athleticism and basketball skills that seem to run in the family.

Laura Govan shared her love and support in the post's comments section.

“That’s My baby ❤️,” she wrote proudly.

All of the Arenas siblings are finding their place in the basketball world, following in the footsteps of their father, Gilbert Arenas. Govan enthusiastically extends her support to all her children.

Alijah is a five-star 2025 prospect, often commended for his size and skills. Izela Arenas is pursuing sports at a collegiate level as a guard with Louisville Cardinals.

Meanwhile, Hamiley Arenas has established herself as an emerging basketball talent after her debut with Notre Dame as a high school varsity player. Aloni Arenas, the youngest of all, has also, from time and time, put on performances that are impressive for a middle schooler.

Laura Govan appreciates son Alijah Arenas’ performance this season

Laura Govan shared game highlights of her son, five-star shooting guard Alijah Arenas, from the current season. Aijah has significantly contributed in leading the Chatsworth Chancellors to an 11-5 record this season.

"A Work Of Art!!"

Govan captioned her Instagram story, sharing Alijah’s performances against Prescott and Long Beach Poly. Even though Chatsworth lost both games, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard showcased his skills and talent, which has established him as a top recruit in the Class of 2025.

He dropped 56 points in a 93-87 loss to Prescott and 40 points in a narrow 61-60 loss to Long Beach Poly.

On Tuesday, Laura Govan also reacted to a compilation complimenting Alijah’s smooth movements and control over the ball. After a series of fire emojis in her comment, she wrote:

“that's my baby."

Through Instagram Stories, she shared the official post of McDonald's All-American Game’s nominees for this season, which included Alijah Arenas’ name.
