Gilbert Arenas' ex-wife, Laura Govan, shared a Halloween snap of her sons, Aloni and Alijah Arenas, via her Instagram handle on Friday. The NBA legend's wife often shares sneak peeks from her and her children's lives on social media.

Halloween was celebrated worldwide on Thursday and Govan delighted fans with a picture of the young basketball stars. Aloni Arenas donned an all-black outfit, pairing his Nike tracksuit with cool sneakers. Alijah Arenas, on the other hand, put on a white t-shirt with a dog-printed sky-blue pajamas. The 6-foot-4 guard completed the outfit with a pair of matching blue sliders.

"My Boyzzzzz ❤️❤️," Govan wrote, tagging both Aloni and Alijah in her story.

Basketball runs in the family as Gilbert Arenas is an NBA legend, and Laura Govan was a star basketball player in college. Their daughter Hamiley currently plays at Notra Dama Sherman Oaks in LA.

While Aloni has a long way to go, all eyes are on one of the five-star recruits from the class of 2025, Alijah Arenas. According to TMZ, Govan says her son would beat his father in a 1x1.

Looking at Alijah Arenas' stats and offers

The Chatsworth High School shooting guard had an impressive 2023-24 season. As per MaxPreps, Alijah Arenas played 35 games and recorded 33.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. His career stats look equally impressive as Arenas has recorded 31.8 ppg, 8.8 rpg, 2.5 apg, and 1.4 rpg per game in 62 games he has played for Chatsworth.

Arenas is the No.5 recruit from the 2026 class and has received 17 offers from different universities, including California, Arizona, and Alabama. However, Arenas is yet to commit.

Arenas told On3 that he is very patient with his game in April:

“I feel like I’m very patient with my game. I hear a lot about how I play, but most people say that I’m good with my pace. I’m focusing the most right now on getting stronger and my shooting ability is more consistent.
“It starts at the top,” Arenas said. “I take pieces from Steph Curry and LeBron. Everything from the way they move their feet to the way they see the floor. I like Jamal Crawford a lot, and it is that type of player that I try to see in myself.”

It will be interesting to see how Arenas gets one when he one day breaks into the NBA, and where he might land in the draft.
