Inglewood's five-star shooting guard, Jason Crowe Jr., put on a show against Beverly Hills on Monday. During that same game, he also reached his 3,000th career point in high school, with Home Team Hoops posting about the milestone on Instagram, along with a highlight of his performance.
Jason Crowe Jr. is the son of former LA Clippers player Jason Crowe, and his highlights and milestones caught the attention of another former NBA player, Gilbert Arenas, a former All-Star and best known for his time with the Washington Wizards.
"🔥🔥🔥🔥," Arena commented.
Jason Crowe Jr. is the No. 8 ranked overall prospect in the Class of 2026 and is also ranked as the No. 3 shooting guard and the No. 5 player in California, according to On3.
The Inglewood star has led his team to a 16-6 record this season, including a win over Gilbert Arenas' son, Alijah Arenas, and the Chatsworth Chancellors during a tournament last month. Crowe had 55 points in the 88-84 victory, while Alijah scored 34 points in that battle of five-star shooting guards.
Crowe and the Inglewood Sentinels are scheduled to take on Hawthorne High School next, on Wednesday. This will be followed by a showdown against Culver City on Friday, and then Canyon High School on Saturday. The team will then take on Los Alamitos on Monday, before taking on Leuzinger on Jan. 22, and then Lawndale on Jan. 24.
Inglewood's tough game before Jason Crowe Jr.'s milestone
Heading into Monday's game, Beverley Hills had the advantage over Jason Crowe Jr.'s squad, the Inglewood Sentinels. The Normans had won six of their last seven encounters against Inglewood and were looking to extend that record.
However, the Sentinels had momentum on their side, coming off a dominating 100-16 win over Centennial High School in their previous game. That momentum continued as Inglewood also dominated the Beverly Hills Normans, winning by 56 points. The head-to-head record between the two teams now stands at 6-2 in favor of Beverly Hills, but Inglewood is closing in.
Inglewood is on a six-game winning streak, with Crowe being the team's best player.
