Alijah Arenas' sister, Hamiley Arenas, has been on a roll lately. The talented guard from the 2028 class has been putting up incredible performances every match week for the Notre Dame Knights. In her most recent game on Saturday, she recorded an impressive 30 points. Her mother, Laura Govan, proudly shared clips from the matchup on her Instagram story.
Alijah took to Instagram to appreciate his sister as well. The No.4 overall recruit from the 2026 class reshared a post on his story on Sunday:

The Notre Dame Knights faced the Oceanside Pirates in the SoCal Holiday Prep Classic on Saturday. Oceanside dominated the first quarter, taking a seven-point lead. However, Hamiley Arenas and her team made a comeback before halftime, not only erasing the deficit but also going ahead by six points.
After a thrilling third quarter, the game remained open, with a 53-49 scoreline. Notre Dame held their nerve to secure a 70-64 victory.
In the first clip shared by Laura, Hamiley dribbles past two defenders to score a bucket. Next, her shot hits the rim, but she gets the ball back after a teammate grabs the rebound. NBA legend Gilbert Arenas' daughter then rectifies her mistake and scores a beautiful basket. She showcased her shooting skill by effortlessly scoring a free throw.
In the following clip, the 9th grader left a defender bamboozled with her dribbling skills.

Hamiley Arenas has been a standout performer for Notre Dame this season, leading the team in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks per game. Under her leadership, the team has achieved a solid 9-4 record in the 2024-25 season.
Hamiley Arenas Regrets Missing Out on Alijah Arenas' Record-Breaking Performance
Alijah Arenas, a 5-star prospect from the 2026 class, shattered Damien Classic records on Friday. The 17-year-old scored a whopping 56 points while also recording seven rebounds and five assists. Hamiley Arenas couldn't attend the game and shared her reaction to the performance via her Instagram.
Hamiley shared @slam_hs' post on her story with a text that read:
"Ofc you wanna pop off when I'm not there."
Despite Alijah's best efforts, his teammates couldn't provide enough support, leading to Chatsworth's 93-87 defeat.
