LA Clippers star James Harden became the second player to make 3,000 3-point shots in his NBA career, and this has many people talking, including high school basketball star Alijah Arenas. The son of Gilbert Arenas posted not one, but two reactions to that rare feat on his Instagram stories on Sunday.

Alijah tagged the LA Clippers star and wrote "History!!!" in the captions, celebrating the career milestone. So far, only Steph Curry has managed to do such a feat.

The LA Clippers defeated the Denver Nuggets 126-122 at home on Sunday. Harden finished the game one rebound short of a triple-double, with 39 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds.

James Harden was coming off another historic performance in a road win against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday. He scored 43 points that night, making it his 100th career game with 40 or more. Only Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan have done this.

Harden is carrying the Clippers' offensive load in the absence of superstar Kawhi Leonard who is dealing with inflammation in his surgically repaired right knee. The Clippers are 13-9 with Harden as the team's leading scorer.

Alijah Arenas said he could beat dad Gilbert 1-on-1 but former NBA All-Star is ducking him

TMZ caught up with Gilbert and Alijah Arenas as they arrived at LAX. The TMZ reporter asked if he could beat his dad one-on-one. Alijah replied with a smirk.

"He be ducking," Alijah told the reporter. "He ain't gon' beat me now, but he had it back then."

This was when the elder Arenas admitted that he had already stopped competing with his son, who is ranked No. 4 overall in the Class of 2026. Gilbert noted that he realized that his son could actually beat him one-on-one.

The younger Arenas plays for Chatsworth, which is still undefeated this season at 4-0. Since he is still a junior, he does not have to make a college decision yet, but he already has several offers, including his dad's alma mater, Arizona, as well as Alabama and California.
