Alijah Arenas, NBA star Gilbert Arenas' son, is ranked as the fourth-best high school player nationally. On Saturday, the 6-foot-5 hooper scored a whopping 40 points against Long Beach Poly at the Real Run Winter Classic at Inglewood High School. Alijah's dominant performance earned him the spotlight, but no one was prouder of him than his girlfriend, Jayden.
On Instagram, Jayden reshared a post by Swish Culture and the Hoop Spill with the following caption:
"And he gon do it every single time."
To which Alijah reposted Jayden's story and replied with:
"Hell Ya."
The Chatsworth Chancellors, led by Alijah Arenas, lost to the Poly Beach's Jackrabbits 61-60 in an intense game. California signee Jovani Ruff scored 26 points, including two clutch free throws with 7.9 seconds remaining, to lead the Jackrabbits.
In high school, Arenas has played 74 games, averaging 31.7 points, 2.9 assists, 8.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks per MaxPreps. He also participated in the Adidas' 17U 3SSB circuit and averaged 21.4 ppg for the Compton Magic.
The Real Run Winter Classic is an annual showcase of top boys basketball teams and features premier schools such as Chatsworth, Inglewood and Sierra Canyon.
This season, it was held at two locations, Inglewood and Morningside High.
Alijah Arenas' girlfriend Jayden supports the young hooper
Reclassified five-star prospect Alijah Arenas' GF Jayden has been cheering him on at his games.
In December, Jayden also shared an array of photos showcasing her relationship with Alijah. The couple were together on a beach house with twinning swimsuits. And Jayden dropped a three-word message; "My whole heart."
In addition to that, in October, she also shared an array of throwback pictures, celebrating Alijah's achievement after he earned the 2021 Most Valuable Player award.
But Jayden is not the only one hyping up the young dribbler, Alijah also shares the duo's cherished moments. On Thanksgiving, Alijah shared a heart-warming picture of the couple, captioning it: "Very Thankful pretty girl."
