"He’s trying to be Cam Ward"- Fans react to 5-star LSU commit Bryce Underwood's playstyle

Bryce Underwood, a five-star quarterback from Belleville (Michigan) High School, is the best overall prospect in the Class of 2025. He is a five-star plus quarterback who is one of, if not the most sought-after athletes in the country. He received offers from top schools such as Ohio State, Michigan, and Alabama before committing to LSU in January this year.

Underwood is a dual-threat quarterback who has great speed as well as great pocket awareness. His skill set was on full display during a play earlier this season that saw him extend a play with his legs and take it to the house for a score.

MaxPreps shared the video of the play on their Instagram account and captioned is as, "Bro making it look too easy."

Fans were amazed to see the 6-foot-4 athlete's playstyle and compared him to Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward.

Underwood is ranked No.1 nationally and is the best player in his position from the Class of 2025, as per On3 Industry Rankings. He is also the best overall player from his home state of Michigan.

Bryce Underwood is one of the best high school quarterbacks this season

Bryce Underwood has been raking in some great numbers through six games of the season and has led his team to a 6-0 record.

Underwood has already thrown five touchdowns in Week 2 and 6 TDs in Week 3 as well as a 55-yard winning touchdown in their Week 1 game against the Clarkston Wolves.

Through the first five games of the season, Bryce Underwood has completed 73.4% of his passes for 1,043 yards, 17 TDs, and 1 interception while also rushing for 311 yards and five scores.

The No.1 ranked prospect announced his commitment to the LSU Tigers in January. He is one of the Tigers' three five-star recruits and is their highest-rated recruit from the class of 2025.
