The Class of 2025 has a lot of underrated players, and during Thursday's episode of "The College Basketball Show" podcast, hoops insider Eric Bossi noted that he believes Link Academy's (Missouri) A'mare Bynum is one of them and might even go up in the rankings. The four-star center already committed to Ohio State University in October, but Bossi said that he has been greatly overshadowed this year.

Bynum is a 6-foot-8 center ranked No. 101 overall in the Class of 2025 by 247Sports. He is also the No. 16 center and the No. 5 prospect in Missouri. Bossi noted that he is up there with some of Link Academy's biggest stars, including five-star power forward Chris Cenac.

"We just got done talking about Darren Peterson being so excellent in the summer that you didn't even really notice anyone else around him, but for me, I'm going with Ohio State Bound big man A'mare Bynum out of Link Academy by way of Omaha, Nebraska," Bossi said.

Bossi added that because Bynum was not part of any of the top teams during last summer's Nike EYBL Peach Jam, he got outshined, but he believes that he has plenty to offer.

"I've had the pleasure of seeing him now multiple times, you know, with Mokan last summer," Bossi said. "It wasn't the typical Mokan behemoth team that we're used to seeing that competes for a Peach Jam title, so he got a little lost in the shuffle, but he's a kind of a tweener four, five big man who maybe at times will stray to the perimeter and settle for jump shots a little bit too much but what you got to love about this kid is he's a whirling dervish of activity.
"He's enthusiastic, a great teammate, he's exceedingly tough physically and he's got a lot to translate."

What Ohio State will get with A'mare Bynum

With A'mare Bynum now officially signed by Ohio State, the Buckeyes will be getting "a live-bodied, energetic and versatile" player, per Bossi. He can also shoot from the perimeter.

Bossi has noted that he had improved a lot, especially his field goal shooting, passing, free throw shooting and passing from the low post. He is an excellent rebounder, although he still needs to bulk up to compete with bigger opponents in his position.
