Thomas Jefferson Campus point guard Conner Sprattley may be unranked and unstarred by many of the big rating websites, but the 2025 prospect surprised many when he exploded to 71 points against Curtis High School on Tuesday. At 5-foot-10, The point guard scored more points than most players ranked above or taller than him have ever made in two or three games.
The Thomas Jefferson High School Orange Wave won that game, 124–76, meaning Sprattley almost outscored Curtis High School by himself.
The big performance against Curtis High School has gotten people talking, including renowned NBA shooting coach Chris "Lethal Shooter" Matthews, who has worked to improve the shooting of some of the biggest players in the NBA, such as Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum. The shooting coach was all praise for Conner Sprattley.
"He understands it," the NBA shooting coach wrote on Instagram on Thursday regarding Spratley.
Matthews has helped many people improve their shooting game, not just NBA players. He worked with former Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, sportscaster Stephen A. Smith, and YouTuber Mr. Beast to improve their shooting.
Sprattley may be unranked and regarded as undersized, but he does have at least one known college offer from the University of Massachusetts. However, that 71-point game may possibly change a few things and get more schools interested.

Conner Sprattley has been very impressive as a scorer and has already eclipsed his previous career high of 44 points last season. Throughout the last five games, the point guard averaged 29.6 points, 7.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game in conference play. In addition, his 71-point game is now the highest-scoring output in a single game this season nationally.
Sprattley is not the highest scorer in his team though, as teammate Jahda Swann averages 30.0 ppg, 12.4 rpg and 7.8 apg over the last five games. He had 21 points, four rebounds and four assists during Tuesday's game for Thomas Jefferson Campus.
